PRIVACY POLICY
Crown Lizard processes the information needed to operate player accounts, protect competitive features, preserve game progress and prepare privacy-respecting advertising.
INFORMATION WE PROCESS
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers and session information when a player creates or uses an account.
- Player identity: callsign, public profile preference, equipped cosmetic ship and public Pilot File identifier.
- Game information: runs, scores, selected difficulty, progression, shard transactions, cosmetic inventory, crate outcomes, Crown Armory unlocks and Global Warden contributions.
- Technical information: security and access logs that may include IP address, user agent, timestamps and request diagnostics.
- Device storage: local preferences such as controls, sound, reduced effects, tutorial state and pending retry identifiers.
WHY WE USE IT
Information is used to provide the game, restore player progress, maintain leaderboards, prevent replay and economy abuse, diagnose failures, secure accounts and operate cooperative events. We do not sell personal information.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
Crown Lizard uses Cloudflare for hosting, network security and edge functions, and Supabase for authentication and database services. Crown Lizard has also submitted the site to Google AdSense for publisher review and configured Google’s consent management platform for future advertising. These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms.
PUBLIC PILOT FILES
A registered callsign and server-verified gameplay statistics may be shown in High Scores, Global Warden rankings and a public Pilot File. The public profile uses an identifier separate from the internal account ID. Players can switch PUBLIC PILOT PROFILE off in Settings. Email addresses, authentication identifiers and wallet balances are never included in a public profile.
COOKIES, CONSENT AND ADVERTISING
Crown Lizard does not currently display production advertisements. The site has been prepared for Google AdSense review. If advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver, limit, measure and protect advertisements. Depending on a visitor’s region and choice, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s certified consent platform will present clear choices to consent, not consent or manage individual options before consent-dependent advertising storage is used. A visitor can later reopen the privacy choices supplied with the advertising service when advertising is active.
RETENTION AND SECURITY
Account and progression data is retained while an account remains active or while reasonably required to operate and protect the service. Security logs may be kept for shorter operational periods. Sensitive writes are performed through authenticated server endpoints; browser clients do not receive database service credentials.
YOUR CHOICES
You can hide your Pilot File in Settings and can play as a device guest without reserving a public callsign. Where a consent message is shown, you can refuse non-essential advertising purposes without losing access to the game. Requests concerning access, correction or deletion can be sent to privacy@crownlizard.com. Identity verification may be required before an account request is completed.
Production advertising remains disabled during publisher review. This policy will be reviewed again before the first live advertisement or rewarded-ad provider is enabled.
